Dear Texas School Coalition Members,

I am honored to serve as the President of the Texas School Coalition and look forward to working alongside each of you as we lead and support our schools and communities. This organization has a proud history of advocating for fair funding solutions, ensuring that our schools have the resources we need to serve every student. I am excited to continue building on this cornerstone with all of you.

Missy and I have had the opportunity to work closely together this last month, and I’ve had the pleasure to witness and benefit from her dedication and outstanding leadership skills and abilities.  As we embark on this new chapter, I want to affirm our commitment to advocating for funding solutions that reflect the unique needs and challenges of our districts. Each of you, as members of this coalition, represents a vital voice and a wealth of experience. Your insights and stories are essential as we engage with legislators, parents, community and business partners, and the public on the importance of fair funding for our schools.

Over the coming months, we’ll be focusing on refining our advocacy strategies, expanding our membership and sponsorships, and enhancing our communication efforts. Our goal is to strengthen our coalition’s influence at every level and to ensure our collective voice is heard loud and clear across Texas.
